Traveling: Buy plots or passports?

I have been going back and forth on this for a little while now. There is really only one factor that has really pushed me to towards a decision: I am guaranteed to pass through 7 official passport zones. Between cities and states, I will be able to purchase 7 passports. This is without including Atlas: Earth official towns.

My original plan was to wait until I purchased 40 plots and then purchase my first passport. But you just don't know when you will have a chance to travel back to certain places, you know?

Time to really start keeping on top of those ads!
